I am no musician but totally love music. I love the difference it makes to so many people and to my day too.
I admire musicians greatly especially young ones having a go .... Good luck with the finals everyone.
I cannot be there to photograph the finals as i will be photographing a wedding. But the finals will be held on October 28th

3630 Festival Battle of the Bands - school heats highlights .....
Kay & Bill - Beloved Session - a gift from their daughter after a letter back in February
Back in February the local newspaper contacted me wanting some images of people 'in love'
I was able to supply them with that, but they also ran a story on 'Beloved Sessions' and i offered the gift of a Beloved Session to a couple that could write to me and tell me their story about why they would like such a session or a couple could be nominated by someone else.
Kay and Bill's daughter, Jaclyn (who is getting married tomorrow and i will be her photographer) wrote a beautiful letter to me nominating her parents who have been together for over 30 years. She wrote telling me a little about their lives and how proud she was of her parents. Through the ups and downs in their lives they still gave so much to others. Jaclyn really wanted her parents to have something special like a Beloved Session. So this is how the session came about for Kay and Bill.
Thank you for sharing your stories with me Kay and Bill. It was so lovely to spend time with you.
I especially loved the story you shared about writing back and forth to each other when you first met and the anticipation & excitement of those letters and the feelings that brought back for you revisiting those memories
(hmmmm... if only we wrote letters to each others today... sadly that beautiful art is seemingly lost by most people today)
Linsey & Clayton - Beloved
Clayton & Linsey met skydiving - they are both skydiving instructors at Skydive Nagambie. Clayton was originally from South Africa but now lives in Australia. Clayton and Linsey will marry next year. I look forward to being their wedding photographer.
They fell in love jumping out of planes together and continue to do so around the world. Last month we hung out at a favourite little spot of theirs- Kirwan's Bridge, only 10 minutes from the drop zone.
They talked lots about their skydiving adventures (and even had me and my daughter Jamile up in the air the very next weekend jumping out of a plane with them) and shared many stories about their life and love for each other. A very special afternoon :-)
Linda & Grant - Beloved Session
Linda & Grant travelled to Shepparton for their Beloved Session. It was lovely to hear stories from when they were younger enjoying the lake. Spending time with Linda & Grant was so very special that we all ended up in a big hug and a few tears at the end. A very special couple that i look forward to photographing their wedding next year.
