An exhibition of photographs & words to give victims of abuse a voice

Women were hand selected to be part of this project. They were guided by Dianne Watson & Liz Arcus to open up their hearts, to explore,to share thoughts & feelings.
A documentary of the process of the ‘hear my heart’ project was also photographed along the way. The process is just as important as the final exhibition pieces. Please take a look at the book at the exhibition. Here below you will see just a few of these images .....
We believe that this project is a way to help women in their journey of recovery …..
Protecting the women’s anonymity is very important - faces are not shown in the images.

This project is being exhibited as part of the SheppARTon festival.
The official opening was held yesterday with much sharing from so many. Thank you to those that attended in person & in spirit.
The theme of the festival is Brave Voices.
The exhibition will run for the month of March
at David Stradling Framing,
90 Fryers St, Shepparton.
