Sheppsounds Main Concert held yesterday at GV Hotel
Sheppsounds - a little bit of fun :-)
SheppSounds is an exciting new youth music initative for original solo artists in Greater Shepparton that Liz Arcus Photography is proud to sponsor. http://www.sheppsounds.com.au
After months of auditions, recording, workshops, appearances and special shows - SheppSounds 2011 concludes with a massive all-ages, drug-and-alcohol free concert at the GV Hotel’s Cabaret Room.
The concert will feature the talents of the five chosen performers taking part in the youth music initiative – Mat Arter, Dave Bell, Madison Dormer, Hannah Magee and Jalen Smith.
All five performers will play short sets of covers and original songs – including tracks from the SheppSounds 2011 compilation – which is released as a limited edition CD and digital download from November 26.
And to top it off, very special guest Rob Galea and his band will perform an acoustic set in one of his first live public performances in Shepparton.
Tickets are on sale now for $10 at the Riverlinks Box Office by visiting http://
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE CD AND CONCERT TICKETS SALES WILL GO TOWARDS LOCAL CHARITIES AND FUTURE YOUTH MUSIC INITATIVES IN GREATER SHEPPARTON.
This is a drug and alcohol free event. No pass outs will be given to patrons under 18 years of age. See you there!
3630 festival - a VERY VERY long overdue blog posting
I cannot believe i overlooked blog posting such a fantastic event that i very much enjoyed sponsoring.
Organised by the one and only Jamie Lea - an amazing 22 year old events co-odinator. The first 3630 festival in Shepparton happened on Sunday March 13, with a huge list of acts like Angus and Julia Stone, Clare Bowditch, Briggs and Ryan Meeking and many others, it was certainly a day many won’t forget.. We got rained on, we nearly got blown away... we were all covered in mud but we had a ball.
Now it’s time to get ready for the second festival!! check out the website http://3630festival.com.au
Enjoy some of my favourite images from this, the first 3630 festival
