A beautiful soul - Steve Seymour
Yesterday i attended Steve's funeral-it is always a reminder of how fragile life can be.
I met Steve last year when he asked me to take some portraits. Steve had cancer and wanted to leave a gift to his family to remember him doing something his loved - photos of him playing his guitar. He also had not had wedding photos taken so i also did some photos of him and Pauline at the place where they were married. It was a privilege to be asked to capture something so special for you Steve- a beautiful soul. To Pauline and family - may the memories grow within you and bring you strength.
Mt Buller wedding in magical mist
Julie Groube & Steven Lynch of Newcastle, NSW were married on January 19th, 2008 at Mt. Buller .
Mountain weather can bring you all sorts of gifts. Thick mist surrounded us all - a magical and surreal atmosphere.
Mt. Buller is a very special place for Julie and Steven- a favourite place to ski and holiday but extra special as Steven proposed to Julie on the summit at Midnight one Easter.
Family and friends travelled from afar to spend the weekend with the couple to celebrate their wedding. They were married in the Mt. Buller chapel and a fantastic reception was held at the Mt. Buller Chalet.
Julie & Steven are honeymooning in Dubai which includes a stay in a palace and a cruise.
Thankyou Julie & Steven for choosing me to be your photographer. You are a gorgeous couple and i wish you all the best for your journey in life together.
Love and light,
Liz
Thank you Tero Sade
Thank you Tero Sade, (wonderful portrait photographer from Hobart) for taking me to US in 2007. It was an experience beyond words.
I learnt so much from Tero as we travelled the west coast of the US with Lorraine from Photo Mounts and Albums, Queensland.
Amazing experiences and special friendships were made along the way.
It was also wonderful to photograph a wedding with Sara France in San Diego and portraits at San Juan Capistrano with Lia.
Thanks also to photographers - Janis Foley, Terri Rippee and Lia Seegerbloom for a great time in San Diego and Dana Point. See you in 2009!
