Carolyn's family - a trip to Phoenix, Arizona

Oh wow, this post is long overdue, but it feels like i  visited Phoenix, Arizona only yesterday but it actually was September 2011.
A trip to my friend's home after a conference in Los Angeles. Spontaneous trip away, thank you Carolyn for sharing with me and your family too, this is for you and your gorgeous girls xx

 a 6 hour drive to Phoenix from Los Angeles

 i haven't seen homes like these before 

 a little cream to help mend her forehead :-) 

 a beautiful spot to watch the sunset 

 and for a bit of yoga 

      breakfast with our friend Galaxie :-)

 ok, why not a little indoor skydiving before leaving Arizona - out in the middle of nowhere !

 in training, people come from all over the world to train at the Arizona Wind tunnel 

and then go do it for real in the big blue sky 

 suiting up

 an aussie group in training 

 and Carolyn is flying ...... 

 sadly supergirl will wait for another time - not so sure - but she is happy to watch her mum fly :-) 

 my turn - only a few weeks earlier in Australia i skydived 

- the scariest thing i have ever done, but this isn't so bad :-) 

 up high and spinning around is so much fun in a wind tunnel :-) 

 time to head to the airport 

 flight to LA 

 i land at LAX and bump into my friend Nicole awaiting her flight back to Philadelphia
